There's so much to update on:
* Luke is almost 3.5 and just growing by leaps and bounds everyday! It amazes us how much he's grown over the past few months, even just at three we thought he was so advanced but now... he's a little adult! Having conversation with us like he's a peer (I know, time to get him into preschool!). We love, now, that he calls us "Mom" and "Dad," it's the cutest thing that just one day, he stopped calling us Mommy and Daddy, as if he's too mature for that now, lol! He's come to be a much better sleeper; still takes a 2-hour nap in the afternoons and sleeps about 11 hours at night. He's not so much into baths anymore, unless he has a cool toy to take in, but he'll definitely say "No" if I ask him if he wants to take a bath. He does, however, love taking baths with his brother, which is a usual. Logies loves it, too! Luke is a little rough with Loges, for which he spends the majority of time in time outs and his bedroom for! He loves leaving the house and running errands with Daddy, he used to be such a home body but now he looks for any reason to go out.... and stay out (usually throwing a FIT to come home!). He has the COOLEST hair ever! We love and leave it long, so of course he's always in need of a haircut but I just hate to do it! I love the overgrown-lived in look ;) My babe is the most love-able, well-mannered, gentle boy... when he wants to be ;)
* My little Logies is 1 year old - he's walking with confidence, plays rough with his brother, is super cuddly and soft, sleeps through the night (11-12 hours), has almost transitioned fully to whole milk, dislikes purees but loves "real" food, has 8 little chompers (4 on top, 4 on bottom), has light brown hair with little curlies coming in at bottom, loves baths, adores his brother, loves his blankie and diving into clothes piles, giggles easily, is a bright and happy little guy and just an overall delight to have in our lives. We are so blessed by him. I've been wanting to update on his stats for awhile... but uh, can just never manage to set aside the time. I hope to update with photos after I do his cake smash session next week (better late than never, right?!).
* Our nameless boy #3! Today I hit my 24-week pregnancy mark! It's such a reassurance! My little "ear of corn" (according to What to Expect, the size of my babe) is now viable outside the womb. Woot Woot!! I worry daily, no exaggeration, that with every move my water will break and my little babe will be born shortly after so it's a blessing to reach this milestone! This pregnancy, by far, has the been the easiest, overall. I'd say that the first trimester was the roughest (with constant nausea, dry heaving and exhaustion!) but getting into the second trimester... I almost forget I'm pregnant! Until I hug Trev and my belly hits him first ;) I think I'm just so busy with my boys, my jobs, my life, that I can't focus on this pregnancy. I'm still so tired (I have a feeling this has more to do with life than being pregnant) but I love it!! I love my growing family! I love that my boys will all be close in age and I'll be done giving birth by age 33 (if he comes at least 4 days early!). I'm looking forward to starting a life that doesn't include pregnancy, breastfeeding or bottles! I say that, mostly, because I'm exhausted and have a hard time sleeping (hello 4:14 am!). I look forward to delivering this babe in the Spring... and to the amazing epidural I'm already signed up for ;)
And while writing this post, I decided to take a few minutes out to edit our Christmas photos so I can share here :) Here are just a "few" of my favorite!!!
