We absolutely LOVE his long hair, but when it hangs, covering his eyes 24/7, it gets to be too much and it's time to go in for a trim... Of course they always take too much, I think I just have issues with letting go!
This is the "before" photo, his lovely hair in all it's long glory :)
Luke does this thing where, if asked, "Luke, how long is your hair?" He shakes his head forward and down a little, and while looking up at his bangs covering his eyes he says, "it's this long.." it's the cutest thing! I told hubbs that we should've videotaped it... but yeah, that didn't happen. It's ok, it'll be long again in a month, maybe he'll still do it for us :)So, because it's such an event to take him in to get his haircut (thank God he doesn't cry anymore, but he still isn't a fan...).
It doesn't take long before the lollipops come out ;)

what's she doing up there?!
ummm, you can clip the bunny's hair, sure, no problem...
but uh uh, stay away from mine!
you missed a spot (lol)
I have to say that I do love how she worked with him, providing demonstrations prior to each step :)
and sometime later...
Mommy's having haircut remorse (as usual!)... but i know it'll grow back soon enough ;) And btw - I'm going to stop anticipating what my next post is going to be about... seeing as I don't keep my word ;)
Enjoy the rest of the week, hopefully I'll be back soon!
xxoo

I'm a wife to the most kind and loving husband ever, a mother to two of the most beautiful baby boys you'll ever meet (Lucas, DOB 8/29/09 and Logan, DOB 12/20/11), a children's social worker by day and a photographer by night (more like, weekend). I love to bake and only cook because we need to eat. If I relied on my dear hubby to cook for us, we'd be eating bean and cheese burritos or quesadillas for dinner every night! There are so many things that I love, but most importantly, I love being a wife and mother and this is the place where I can document our life, mostly in photographs, today.
