lol, if that's what you can call it?! he REFUSES to drink from an artificial nipple, ugh! we've tried a few different brands, and have tried a soft-tip sippy cup. all he does is gnaw on the nips so i'm thinking he's going to do this with every artifical nip that comes his way! i'm going to run out and get a hard-tip sippy cup and see how he does with that, but for now, i feel so much relief that at least he'll drink it out of a cup!
I'm a wife to the most kind and loving husband ever, a mother to two of the most beautiful baby boys you'll ever meet (Lucas, DOB 8/29/09 and Logan, DOB 12/20/11), a children's social worker by day and a photographer by night (more like, weekend). I love to bake and only cook because we need to eat. If I relied on my dear hubby to cook for us, we'd be eating bean and cheese burritos or quesadillas for dinner every night! There are so many things that I love, but most importantly, I love being a wife and mother and this is the place where I can document our life, mostly in photographs, today.

ReplyDeleteI have this SAME problem!! My little guy has refused a bottle since day one...I was planning on nursing to 6 months...he is now almost 10 months and I have no choice...lol...he WILL drink out of a water bottle....random...and very difficult. But I feel you! :) You are not alone!
ReplyDeleteomg michelle!! my ds LOVES drinking out of a water bottle!!! lol. so random, i know, crazy that yours does too. i haven't tried milk out of the water bottle but i likely will. that's great that you didn't let him starve :) i'm already dreading the weaning process, i have a feeling i might be nursing him at 5 :0
