Luke is 7 months!

I can't believe how fast these past 7 months have gone by! I can't believe I didn't have a video camera running 24/7 in the early days when we brought Luke home from the hospital (sure all he did was sleep and eat but he was just so teeny tiny! A mere 6 lbs 15 oz!). Today, at just over 7 months, he's more than tripled his birth weight and grown more than 1/2 a foot in length!!

Here's what Luke has been up to:

* 21 lbs 8 oz
* first cold at 7 mos. 3 days. Urgent care with a temp of 101.4 (just a cold, dr. prescribed decongestant, mommy didn't give it to you).
* started solids at 6 months. So far he's had avocado, squash, peas, applesauce, green beans, bananas, oatmeal and carrots. He has solids twice a day, about 1+ oz at breakfast (usually oatmeal mixed with banana or applesauce, Luke prefers applesauce) and 1 oz of veggies at dinner.
* introduced sippy cup and he actually drinks expressed breast milk from it!!! YAY!
* his personality is really starting to show, now cries when we take something away from him or when we put him to bed or in his car seat when he's not having it!
* nurses 6 times/day, about every 2.5-3 hrs.
* takes 3-4 naps/day, 2-3 1-hr naps, 1 2-hr nap.
* clogged tear duct in his left eye cleared up completely at 6 months. right eye is still really clogged, we have to clean it constantly. specialist said no surgery until at least 12 months, we're praying it clears up by then :)
* still same nighttime routine as when he was 2 months old! 8:10 p.m. bath, 8:30 p.m. pj's, 8:45 nurse to sleep (every night he wakes up about 9:30-10 to either eat on the "other side" or to be rocked for a few minutes, weird, he does this EVERY night like clockwork!).
* though we can't keep him on his back (rolls to tummy), he's still not a happy camper on his tummy.
* no signs of crawling anytime soon
* no signs of teeth anytime soon
* overall, Luke is a very happy baby that rarely (seriously, like 1-2 times a week!) cries. he only cries if i take away a water bottle (his favorite toy these days) or if he's extremely tired and doesn't want to go in his car seat. he'll occasionally cry when we put him down to nap but quickly gets over it (within a minute).

All in all, we're so over the top in love with our little boy and can't believe God has blessed us to watch over him ♥
