Clogged Tear Duct.. Ugh!
i'm so over it already! poor ds has had this issue with clogged tear ducts since birth, but it's gotten to be a near constant problem since he was 3 months. we do the massaging and warm compress and see no results. we've had him on Vigamox but that only seems to work while we're treating it and I refuse to have him on antibiotics every.single.day until this issue clears up. dr. prescribed erythromycin (an ointment) and that irritates the skin around his eyes, ugh. i've resorted to cleaning his eyes 3x's a day with chamomile tea (a homeopathic remedy that is so far, at day 2, working wonders). ds has an appointment with the specialist on monday, i hope the dr. can deliver good news, an effective treatment plan, or just some simple ol' "it'll pass" prescription.

I'm a wife to the most kind and loving husband ever, a mother to two of the most beautiful baby boys you'll ever meet (Lucas, DOB 8/29/09 and Logan, DOB 12/20/11), a children's social worker by day and a photographer by night (more like, weekend). I love to bake and only cook because we need to eat. If I relied on my dear hubby to cook for us, we'd be eating bean and cheese burritos or quesadillas for dinner every night! There are so many things that I love, but most importantly, I love being a wife and mother and this is the place where I can document our life, mostly in photographs, today.
aww poor baby....my oldest and youngest had blocked ducts but worked themselves out by 6weeks...i would just massage my babies eyes w/a warm wash cloth...but each are diff! he's a cutie!

Yeah, everyone says that, by this age, they weren't having problems with clogged ducts :/ not even the chamomile is working now. it's so frustrating, i just hate seeing his eyes constantly watering/running and being all raw from us wiping them clean, ugh, hopefully the specialist can give us good news. thanks for the comment.
