by the time i realized, "hey, it's pretty quiet in there..." this is what i had to pry out of his little chubby hands! he ATE part of his baptismal invitation! i had this one specially printed in a 4x6 for his baby book, left it out on the ottoman (along with the baby book) so i could work on putting it in the album, and he ATE it! the pieces were no where to be found! i gave him a little scolding (though it was completely my fault for leaving him alone) and he replied with the biggest, cutest gummy grin! of course i wanted to laugh and smile but i didn't, lol, didn't want to send mixed messages. needless to say, breakfast preparation this morning was spent playing on the kitchen floor.so yeah, he's just into everything, giving mommy a good run for her money. gone are the days when i could leave him playing on the floor for a few moments! i even sit him in front of the restroom while i go now (sorry - tmi)!!
here are a few snapshots taken over the past few days. these are the pics that are going to trigger memories years down the road ;) i just love my curious little boy!

I'm a wife to the most kind and loving husband ever, a mother to two of the most beautiful baby boys you'll ever meet (Lucas, DOB 8/29/09 and Logan, DOB 12/20/11), a children's social worker by day and a photographer by night (more like, weekend). I love to bake and only cook because we need to eat. If I relied on my dear hubby to cook for us, we'd be eating bean and cheese burritos or quesadillas for dinner every night! There are so many things that I love, but most importantly, I love being a wife and mother and this is the place where I can document our life, mostly in photographs, today.
What a sweetheart! He hardly looks like he'd chew up a very nice invitation. Haha.
ReplyDeleteAs far as putting it in his baby book... at least he didn't get any of the words. ;)
It's so hard to keep a constant eye on them! Just when you think it's safe to leave them alone for a minute they do something you never would have even considered! :)
ReplyDeleteHe's such a cutie!
P.S. I came over from the bump photo board.
