withOUT the kiddies! remember how i've been saying, for about two-three months now, that Logan sleeps through the night?! Well, yeah... not so much anymore! it's like he KNOWS we're planning on skipping town for a few days next week (to Vegas) and is laying it on thick! i mean, come on Logies, the mommy guilt is already there! it's as natural as breathing, so c'mon Logies, GO TO BED ALREADY!!!
it now takes about an hour to get him down at night; from swaddling, to nursing, to burping to rocking, jeez! as much as i love getting to cuddle with him, spending an hour in relaxing, peaceful baby-snuggling-bliss is quite exhausting and as soon as i'm getting him into bed, i crawl into my own and am out like a light!
and now i'm worried that i'm leaving a harder-to-manage baby with my mil.. of course not that she can't handle it, she once (ok, more like three times) told me that she rocked all three of her children every.single.night until the age of two, i mean, jeez, if my hubby still fit in her lap... haha. she really is amazing!
any how, YAY VEGAS! as much as i will surely miss my little munchkins, i am more than looking forward to getting away with the hubbs! sometimes a week goes by and i don't feel like i've even seen him!
and to make this post more exciting, some Logie bath-time fun!
he's still so little but getting so big! boo! (and making sure his little bits aren't all on blast, haha)
such a stud!
poor baby has been teething bad (drooling, can't sleep, biting me - OUCH!) for a month now!
and the $1,000,000 smile! seriously, what bad day?! i should rent this kid out just to brighten days ;)
have i mentioned that we're going to VEGAS BABY?! haha. and the #1 thing i'm most looking forward to? SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! waking on my own terms. drinking a margarita because i don't have to rush home and nurse the Logesters (i'll still be pumping a few times a day, boo, but i really don't want to complain about that! i'll just carry on with my priority to-do list:
1. sleep
2. nap
3. margaritaville
4. nap
5. black jack
6. sleep
and any activity that doesn't involve sleeping, yeah, i'll have a margarita in my hand ;)

I'm a wife to the most kind and loving husband ever, a mother to two of the most beautiful baby boys you'll ever meet (Lucas, DOB 8/29/09 and Logan, DOB 12/20/11), a children's social worker by day and a photographer by night (more like, weekend). I love to bake and only cook because we need to eat. If I relied on my dear hubby to cook for us, we'd be eating bean and cheese burritos or quesadillas for dinner every night! There are so many things that I love, but most importantly, I love being a wife and mother and this is the place where I can document our life, mostly in photographs, today.
