i apologize in advance that all the pics pretty much look the same... luke didn't age much while we were there, lol, and we pretty much did the same thing everyday. it gets a little redundant but again, any excuse to show off my cute little boy (it's not just me right?!).
i just adore any photo of these two together. dh is really such a great dad.

flying into the clouds, so beautiful - behind the dirty glass of course
helllllooo LA! oh how i've missed you!

I'm a wife to the most kind and loving husband ever, a mother to two of the most beautiful baby boys you'll ever meet (Lucas, DOB 8/29/09 and Logan, DOB 12/20/11), a children's social worker by day and a photographer by night (more like, weekend). I love to bake and only cook because we need to eat. If I relied on my dear hubby to cook for us, we'd be eating bean and cheese burritos or quesadillas for dinner every night! There are so many things that I love, but most importantly, I love being a wife and mother and this is the place where I can document our life, mostly in photographs, today.
A) love the pics. All of them!
ReplyDeleteB) Super love the one on the orange chair!
C) You are hot! (Is your hubby laughing at this comment? Nodding? All of the above? LOL)
D) I hope you used all of your lenses on this trip!
E) Looks like you had a great time!
F) I can really tell you are learning so much! You did a great job w/ light and interesting perspectives!
G) Those lions are so cute! (Tigers, maybe?)
2 things:
ReplyDeleteYour family is beautiful! And no it's not just you... Luke couldn't be any cuter! I'm jealous... I want to go to the beach soon. And I agree with Care... you are getting great with photography!
And, I don't think I ever knew you lived in LA! What part? Any recommendations on family friendly areas we should look at? We've been looking in the areas that my family lives in: Redondo Beach & Torrance. Thanks :)
Oh, and my grandparents & some other family lives in Inglewood & Hawthorne, so I DO know from visiting every year to stay away from those areas :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pics! We have not ventured to take a real family vacation but it looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments everyone!!! You're too kind ;)
ReplyDeleteCare - yep, dh was laughing at your comments (because of course I had to tell him that I'm hot, lol). I mostly used the 24-70, 50, and uwa. I never really saw an opportunity to use the telephoto since I had the uwa and wanted to play with that lenth. And that is a lion cub, super cute right?!
MrsF - I live in south county, Lakewood. Closer to orange county than la really. I'm not all too familiar with la but know that some students from USC lived out in the hermosa beach, redondo beach, manhattan beach area. Torrance isn't much further and probably more affordable. My vote, if you recall, was for the smaller place without a yard since, in nicer areas, you'll get to spend more time outdoors in our great year-round weather. Whatever you guys decide will be the right choice, i'm sure ;) it would, though, be so awesome to meet your little Gianna! She's like a celebrity around here ;)
nat - if ever you could I highly rec it!! This, by far, was the best vacay I've ever been on.
What a great family trip, thanks for sharing all the pictures! Luke is just too cute!
